Masters Tickets…There’s Still Time

MastersThere’s only nine days left to The Masters so there isn’t much time left to get those tickets but all hope is not lost.

A quick search of eBay, Stub Hub or Cheap Seats will show there are some tickets available, if you’re willing to lay out some serious, serious cash.

Monday practice rounds are going for $350 while a Wednesday ticket which includes the Par 3 Contest will cost you $571.99 on eBay.

I found a steal for Thursday’s opening round at $1,005 and Friday is actually cheaper if you want to bring a friend and get two tickets at $1852.

Really want to be there for moving day on Saturday? Fork over $1380 or sleep in and buy a “Half Day Ticket for only $625. I actually used one of those half day tickets at Merion for the U.S. Open and it worked out great.  dcp

Now for Sunday if you want to witness history like Rory McIlroy winning completing his career Grand Slam or maybe see Bubba go back to back get ready to say goodbye to some mucho dinero.

You can try and enter a bid for a pair of tickets that is at $2000 and still climbing or hit the “Buy It Now” tab and pay $2600.

But the most intriguing offer I saw was from an inventive owner of four tickets to Sunday’s Drive, Chip & Putt competition.

For a mere $499 bucks you get four tickets to see the kids drive, chip and putt and have access to the grounds, the merchandize tent and the course…all day. Now if you’re willing to pass on the Big Boys and watch the kids and just want to get on these green hills of Augusta National this may be just the ticket.

From my point of view watching the kids, walking the grounds, following a practice and hitting the merchandize tent while chowing down on a pimento cheese sandwich all sounds pretty good. God bless those kids…and Augusta National.
