Mike Davis Talks 2014 US Opens at Pinehurst

In my never ending quest to satisfy my “US Open Jones” Mike Davis has come to the rescue.

The USGA’s Executive Director and U.S. Open setup specialist offers some insights into the 2014 Opens, yes, Opens.  The men’s and women’s Open will be held in back to back weeks on Pinehurst #2.

Davis will try to set up the Donald Ross gem the same for both Open’s with the men and women both hitting the same club into those treacherous greens.

It will be another historic week for the USGA when they stage both Opens over the same course and Davis and his boys look prepared already.
