The afternoon group had a much easier go than the players in the morning wave and the scoring difference attests to that. Still, Rory Mc leads the way shooting four under 67 with an early tee time in the wet and gloom.
There was a bit of movement in the rankings of our Links Life Golf touts and here we stand:
5. The Greek had another tough day with Keegan Bradley missing the cut at +4 as well as Kaymer at +2 on top of the +8 /WD yesterday from Jason Dufner. He still has Rickie in the race and could garner the top spot on Sunday.
4. Lil Skins has two players in the top five with Rory and Phil but his man crush Spaniard, Miguel Angel has cashed out.
3. Big Dick drops back a spot but is still well positioned with three players still in the game and with both Rory and the resurgent Phil, he’s got plenty of horsepower and sentiment going his way.
2. Big Skins moves up to the second spot riding Rory and Rickie and has all four picks playing this weekend.
1. G. Rennie retains the top spot at the midway point of the PGA Championship. With four players in the red he is the chalk for total money won with players now slotted in the top three spots. But golf is a fickle game and it ain’t over ’till it’s over.
