Azinger’s Simple Fix for Ryder Cup Problems

The folks over at the Back9 Network brought out their big guns, Jeff Rude and John Maginnes to get former winning Ryder Cup Captain Paul Azinger (there are far too few of them) to chat about the USA Ryder Cup failures.

Zinger says it’s a very deep problem and the players and the past captains have been “filtered out of the process.”

He suggests that the PGA of America take a look at the business model Team Europe has in place. In fact it’s the same model the PGA uses to select their president. So the fix is close at hand.

As usual Azinger’s comments seem so very simple they almost appear too easy. But sometimes simple is the best solution.

Hat tip to Geoff Shackelford for the link.
