Tiger Not the Only Winner at The Masters

Once again The Masters proved historic this year as Tiger Woods completed his comeback with an exclamation point in the form of a green jacket. It was an exciting weekend and probably deemed implausible just a year ago. masters flag

Another implausible, historic event coincided with Tiger’s win at The Masters. Lil Skins finally broke through to a victory in our Links Life Golf Picks competition.

He rode the Tiger Comeback wave to victory and with Brooks Koepka finishing second he topped all the Links Lifers with $3,125,892. Nice job Lil Skins, and he wins a gourmet meal at the luxurious Table 9 Food & Drink courtesy of The Greek.

Finishing in second was Big Dick who also had Woods as his winner but Bubba and Phil failed him. $2,484,690.

In third place was The Greek himself headed by Koepka’s second place with $1,360,067.

Sheriff Andy was an impressive fourth even with Justin Rose leaving Augusta on Friday night. Koepka helped him along with Rory and Charley Hoffman to total $1,078,317.

Next up was myself, Big Skins, and I bet the ranch on Rory and of course I was disappointed by his T21 finish. I do give myself props for the highest finishing Dark Horse in my man Ian Poulter, go Poults! $1,077,837.

In sixth place was the ever verbose Uncle George of St. Augustine who so wanted Francisco to hold off Tiger and delay his comeback a few more painful majors. When Molinari’s ball hit the water on twelve, George was all wet too. $990,437.

And bringing up the rear, sucking a major Canadian hind tit was Gordo. He did have Molinari but his supporting cast let him down. Turns out Corey Conners isn’t the new Mike Weir. $541,362.

The PGA Championship is up next in May from my neck of the woods at Bethpage Black. Should be another interesting week.
