As we turn the page on this year’s annual USGA controversy otherwise know as he U.S. Open there is still one order of business to settle: The Links Life Golf Picks results.
With all the big names missing the cut some of the crew at Links Life Golf must have felt like they had just gone 36 holes on a USGA setup. The course beat down plenty of players and in doing so laid waste to many of our picks.
But in spite of all the issues we are left with a worthy champion both on the course, Brooks Koepka and on our board, The Greek.
Greek was the only LLG’er to go with Koepka and his back to back victories. Koepka doesn’t seem like a bold pick in retrospect but he was flying under everyone’s radar. But it was his Dark Horse pick of Tony Finau that showed his true vision.
With this win, The Greek moves into first place in our Major Season Challenge with $3,824,459 and two majors remaining.
